GMass Pricing 2026: Plans, Team Rates and the SMTP Cost

GMass runs $29.95 to $59.95 for one user and $175 to $2,200 for a team, but its pricing page lists an identical feature set on all three individual plans, so it cannot tell you what upgrading buys. Every 2026 figure verified first-party, plus the per-seat break-even table and the $5 per 10,000 SMTP charge that is not on the pricing page at all.

GMass pricing runs $29.95, $39.95 or $59.95 a month for a single user, dropping to $249, $349 or $599 a year if you pay annually. Team plans start at $175 a month for five users and reach $2,200 a month for a hundred. There is a seven-day free trial capped at 50 emails a day, and a permanent free account with the same 50-address ceiling per 24 hours. Every figure here was pulled from gmass.co and GMass's own published pricing sheet in August 2026.

Two things about that ladder are worth more than the sticker prices. The pricing page lists an identical feature set on all three individual plans, so it cannot tell you what the extra $30 a month buys. And the cost that actually decides your bill at volume is not on the pricing page at all.

GMass pricing plans in 2026

Plan Billed monthly Annual (per month) Annual total
Free account$0$0$0
Standard$29.95$20.75$249
Premium$39.95$29.08$349
Professional$59.95$49.92$599

GMass rounds those annual figures down to $20, $29 and $49 on its own page. The real division is $249, $349 and $599 over twelve months. Annual billing saves 31% on Standard, 27% on Premium and 17% on Professional. The discount shrinks as the plan gets more expensive, so the year-up-front commitment is worth most on the cheapest tier, which is the reverse of how most vendors structure it.

What is the difference between GMass Standard, Premium and Professional?

The pricing page will not answer this. Pulling the rendered page in August 2026 shows all three individual plan cards listing the same fourteen bullets, including sequences and follow-ups, API access, triggered emails and inbox rotation, with no greyed-out or excluded markers on any card. A buyer comparing $29.95 against $59.95 is looking at two identical lists.

GMass documents the split elsewhere: automated follow-up sequences, API and Zapier access and triggered emails sit on Premium and above, and MultiSend inbox rotation plus high-priority support sit on Professional. If that holds, it matters enormously for cold email specifically, because follow-ups and inbox rotation are the two features cold outreach cannot run without. The functional cold email price is therefore $39.95 at minimum and $59.95 if you want rotation, not the $29.95 headline. Confirm the tier you need with GMass support before you subscribe rather than trusting either their card layout or this article.

GMass team pricing and the per-user math

Team plan Per month Per user, per month Per year Extra user, per month
5 users$175$35.00$1,750$38
10 users$295$29.50$2,950$35
25 users$725$29.00$7,250$30
50 users$1,350$27.00$13,500$27.50
100 users$2,200$22.00$22,000$24

Notice what happens to the per-seat rate. A ten-user team pays $29.50 a head, which is less than a single Premium user pays for the same feature set on monthly billing. At a hundred users it is $22 a head. Most per-seat software charges a premium for team management; GMass charges a discount, and the discount is steep enough that a five-person sales team is paying less per person than a solo consultant on Premium.

The extra-user rates in that last column come from GMass's published pricing sheet rather than the pricing page, and they are always slightly above the in-plan rate. That creates a break-even you can calculate, and getting it wrong is the most common way teams overpay here.

When should you move up a GMass team plan?

You are on Extra users cost Next plan costs Switch at
5 users, $175$38 each$295 for 109 users ($327 vs $295)
10 users, $295$35 each$725 for 2523 users ($750 vs $725)
25 users, $725$30 each$1,350 for 5046 users ($1,355 vs $1,350)
50 users, $1,350$27.50 each$2,200 for 10081 users ($2,202.50 vs $2,200)

Read the first row carefully, because it is the one most teams hit. At nine users you are paying $327 a month on the five-user plan with four overage seats, when the ten-user plan is $295 and gives you a spare seat. Nobody sends you an email about this. The same trap sits at 23 users and again at 46.

The cost that is not on the pricing page

GMass advertises unlimited emails on every plan, with an asterisk. The asterisk reads that breaking limits depends on individual account configuration, and the honest reading is that the ceiling was never GMass's to set. GMass sends through your Gmail account, so your volume is capped by Google: 500 messages a day on a regular Gmail account and 2,000 a day on Google Workspace, per GMass's own documentation. Unlimited means unlimited within someone else's quota.

Past that quota there are three exits. You can let GMass distribute a campaign over several days. You can use MultiSend to spread it across multiple connected Gmail accounts, and usefully those extra sending accounts do not need their own subscriptions. Or you can route through SMTP, and this is where the pricing sheet holds a figure the pricing page does not mention at all: $5 per 10,000 messages sent via SMTP.

That works out to $0.0005 an email, which is cheap on its own and completely changes how you should model a high-volume month. A team sending 200,000 emails through SMTP adds $100 to the bill on top of the subscription. Any comparison that stops at the $29.95 headline is describing a product nobody at volume is actually buying.

Does GMass have a free plan?

Yes, with a hard ceiling. The free account cannot send to more than 50 email addresses in any 24-hour period, and the seven-day free trial applies the same 50-per-day cap. That is enough to test whether the Chrome extension fits how you work and not remotely enough to run a campaign. There is no free tier that scales.

Is GMass worth the price for cold email?

For a specific buyer, yes, and it is the cheapest credible option in its lane. If your whole team lives in Gmail, you send from Google Workspace accounts, and your volume sits comfortably inside Google's quota, then $39.95 or $59.95 a month for unlimited sending with follow-ups is very hard to beat. A ten-user team at $295 is cheaper than almost every dedicated sequencer on the market.

Three constraints decide whether that applies to you. GMass is a Chrome extension that runs inside Gmail, so there is no Outlook or Microsoft 365 support of any kind. Your ceiling is Google's quota rather than a number GMass controls. And it does not source contact data, so list building is a separate purchase. As teams grow, a fourth issue tends to arrive: once several reps share campaigns, deciding who owns each inbound reply becomes a workflow problem of its own, and some teams solve it with software that routes every incoming lead to the right person automatically rather than by watching a shared inbox.

The point where GMass stops fitting is usually volume. When you need more than a couple of thousand sends a day, the answer is not a bigger plan, it is more mailboxes on more sending domains, which is a different shape of product. We wrote up that arithmetic in detail on our guide to bulk cold email software, and the short version is that Google measures spam complaint rate per sending domain, so concentrating volume in one Workspace account concentrates the risk there too.

How does GMass pricing compare to other cold email tools?

Tool Entry price Priced by Works with Outlook
GMass$29.95/moPer userNo, Gmail only
Mailshake$29/user/moPer userYes
Snov.io$39/moCredits and recipientsYes
Saleshandy$25/moFlat, unlimited inboxesYes
Apollo$49/user/mo annualPer seat plus data creditsYes

Comparing entry prices across these is close to meaningless because they are metered differently. GMass and Mailshake charge per person. Snov.io charges for data and for recipients on two independent meters. Saleshandy charges a flat rate regardless of how many mailboxes you connect, which is the model that wins at high volume because your cost stops tracking your sending. The full breakdown across fourteen tools sits in our cold email software pricing comparison, and if you are specifically weighing GMass against a dedicated sequencer, our GMass alternative page runs the same numbers side by side.

What you should actually budget

Take the plan price, add the SMTP usage if you expect to exceed Google's daily quota, and check the team break-even table above if you have more than five people. A five-person team running cold email properly is looking at $175 a month plus whatever SMTP volume they push, which is genuinely inexpensive. The costs that catch people out are the overage seats nobody recalculated and the assumption that unlimited meant unlimited.

If your volume plan involves several thousand sends a day, price the mailboxes and domains before you price the software, because that is where the real money goes. Our guide to how many cold emails you can send per day works through the per-mailbox limits, and how many mailboxes to run per domain covers the domain side.
