Instantly vs Dripify: pricing, real sending limits and which is better for cold outreach
The short answer
Instantly is a cold email platform priced by how much you send: the outreach-only Growth plan is $47 a month, or $37.60 on annual billing, and it includes unlimited connected mailboxes, unlimited warm-up and 5,000 emails a month. Dripify is a LinkedIn automation platform priced per user at $39, $59 and $79 a month on annual billing, and its reach is capped by LinkedIn rather than by your plan. The decisive difference is not the price, it is the shape of the ceiling. If Instantly is too small you buy a bigger plan and send more. If Dripify is too small there is nothing to buy, because LinkedIn allows roughly 100 invitations per rolling week per account no matter which tier you are on. Choose Instantly when volume and inbox health decide the outcome, and Dripify when your buyers ignore email and LinkedIn is the only door that opens.
AutoMail researches and writes a 1:1 sequence. Sample data, nothing is sent.
Live, interactive · personalized · no card needed
Permission-based B2B outreach · 1-click unsubscribe in every send · deliverability protected
Quick verdict
Who each tool is for
Both Instantly and Dripify are capable. Here is the shortest honest way to choose, with where AutoMail fits.
Pick Instantly
Email is the channel and you need volume with deliverability behind it. The outreach-only Growth plan is $47 a month, $37.60 annually, with unlimited connected mailboxes, unlimited warm-up and 5,000 sends. Step up to Hypergrowth at $77.60 annually when you need 100,000 a month.
Pick Dripify
Your market ignores cold email but accepts LinkedIn requests, and you want cloud-based LinkedIn sequencing from $39 per user a month annually. Buy it knowing LinkedIn, not your plan, sets the ceiling at roughly 100 invitations per account per week.
Pick AutoMail
The channel is already decided and the real bottleneck is writing sequences people answer. The AI researches each prospect, writes the full opener and follow-ups, warms and rotates your inboxes, then pauses on reply and routes meeting-ready answers to your booking link. Flat per workspace, unlimited seats.
People line these two up because both promise automated outbound, but they are not really competing for the same job. Instantly sends cold email at volume and spends most of its engineering on staying out of spam folders: unlimited connected mailboxes, unlimited warm-up, rotation across those mailboxes, and plans that step up by how many emails and contacts you need. Dripify runs sequences on LinkedIn, sending connection requests, messages, InMails, profile views and endorsements from the cloud, and it added an email finder and email steps on top of that.
The number that should decide the purchase is the one neither vendor puts on the plan card. Dripify publishes daily activity quotas, 20 connection requests a day on Basic and 75 on Pro and Advanced, and those figures make the upper tiers look like they buy you nearly four times the reach. LinkedIn itself is stricter. The platform allows most accounts roughly 100 invitations per rolling seven days, about 430 a month, whatever any tool attempts on your behalf. So all three Dripify tiers land at close to the same real ceiling, and paying for Advanced does not raise it. What the higher tiers actually buy is unlimited campaigns, team management, A/B testing and the advanced LinkedIn protection feature, which are real things, just not more reach.
Run the same test on Instantly and it behaves the opposite way. The Growth plan allows 5,000 emails a month at $37.60 on annual billing. Hypergrowth is $77.60 a month annually for 100,000 emails, and Light Speed is $286.30 for 500,000 and up. Nothing outside your own budget and your own mailbox reputation stops you moving up. That is the practical trade: email reach is elastic and you pay for it, LinkedIn reach is fixed and you cannot.
Cost per outbound touch shows the gap plainly, and it is worth being careful about what it does and does not prove. At $39 a month on annual Basic against roughly 430 invitations, Dripify costs about 9.1 cents per connection request, rising to 13.7 cents on Pro and 18.4 cents on Advanced, because the price goes up and the real ceiling does not. Instantly Growth works out at about 0.75 cents per email, and Hypergrowth at under a tenth of a cent. That is not a like-for-like win. A LinkedIn connection request from a real profile typically gets far more attention than a cold email, so cost per touch is not cost per conversation, and the honest reading is that LinkedIn touches are scarce and expensive while email touches are cheap and plentiful. Which one wins depends entirely on whether your buyers answer email.

The third option
Where AutoMail fits between them
The AI writes the sequence
Both tools above leave the copy to you. AutoMail researches each prospect and writes a genuine 1:1 opener and follow-ups, so relevance, not just volume, drives the reply rate.
Deliverability built in
Inbox rotation, gradual warm-up and a spam-score check on every send keep personalized copy in the primary inbox, built for the 2026 Google and Microsoft sender rules.
Replies become meetings
When a prospect answers, the sequence pauses, intent is classified, and meeting-ready replies route to your booking link and CRM. Flat per workspace, unlimited seats, no credits.
One honest caveat: AutoMail has no built-in lead database, so bring or sync your own verified list. If prospecting data is what you need most, keep a data tool for that and run the outreach here.
