AutoMail

PlusVibe vs Smartlead pricing and which is better for cold email

The short answer

PlusVibe is the better buy for a sender working a large list on a small budget, and Smartlead is the better buy for an agency that wants white-label client workspaces without a $497 plan. Both connect unlimited mailboxes, include warm-up and rotation, and price by volume rather than seats. The number that decides most budgets is the contact ceiling: Smartlead Base costs $39 a month for 6,000 sends and 2,000 contacts, while PlusVibe Personal costs $37 for 25,000 emails and 30,000 active leads. At 150,000 emails a month PlusVibe Business is $77 and Smartlead Unlimited Smart is $174.

Quick verdict

Who each tool is for

Both PlusVibe and Smartlead are capable. Here is the shortest honest way to choose, with where AutoMail fits.

Pick PlusVibe

You send from a list you own and want the most contacts and emails per dollar. Personal at $37 covers 25,000 emails and 30,000 active leads, and Business at $77 covers 150,000 emails with the API, webhooks and AI reply agents.

Pick Smartlead

You run outbound for a handful of clients and want white-label workspaces at $29 each from the $94 Pro plan, or you want the bigger review base and agency ecosystem. Budget the $59 verification add-on below Unlimited Smart.

Pick AutoMail

Cheaper sending is not the problem, the copy is. The AI researches each company, writes the opener and every follow-up for that prospect, sends from warmed and rotated inboxes, pauses on reply and routes interested prospects to your booking link. Flat per workspace from $24 a month annual, unlimited seats.

PlusVibe and Smartlead sell the same kind of product. You connect as many Google or Microsoft mailboxes as you want, both tools warm them up and rotate sending across them, and the bill follows how much you send instead of how many people log in. Smartlead is the established agency favorite, with a deeper review base and a long list of agency features. PlusVibe grew out of Pipl.ai and competes mainly on how much sending and how many contacts each dollar buys.

We read Smartlead's pricing page on October 22, 2026. It lists four plans: Base at $39 a month for 6,000 email sends and 2,000 contacts, Pro at $94 for 90,000 sends and 30,000 contacts, Unlimited Smart at $174 for 150,000 sends with unlimited contacts, and Unlimited Prime at $379 for 500,000 sends with three client workspaces included. Annual billing takes 17 percent off. PlusVibe, read the same month, lists Personal from $37, Business from $77 and Agency from $497, with yearly billing taking two months off and a slider for enrichment credits that moves the price on each card.

Two details on the Smartlead page change the math. Verified prospect emails are a $59 a month add-on on Base and Pro and only come included on Smart and Prime. And white label is an add-on at $29 a month per client workspace, available from Pro. PlusVibe puts white label and an isolated sending server per client on its Agency plan, which starts at $497. So small agencies usually come out cheaper on Smartlead, while single senders with big lists usually come out cheaper on PlusVibe.

The third option

Where AutoMail fits between them

The AI writes the sequence

Both tools above leave the copy to you. AutoMail researches each prospect and writes a genuine 1:1 opener and follow-ups, so relevance, not just volume, drives the reply rate.

Deliverability built in

Inbox rotation, gradual warm-up and a spam-score check on every send keep personalized copy in the primary inbox, built for the 2026 Google and Microsoft sender rules.

Replies become meetings

When a prospect answers, the sequence pauses, intent is classified, and meeting-ready replies route to your booking link and CRM. Flat per workspace, unlimited seats, no credits.

One honest caveat: AutoMail has no built-in lead database, so bring or sync your own verified list. If prospecting data is what you need most, keep a data tool for that and run the outreach here.

Good questions

PlusVibe vs Smartlead, answered

PlusVibe is better for a sender with a large list and a tight budget, because Personal includes 30,000 active leads and 25,000 emails for $37. Smartlead is better for small agencies, since white-label client workspaces cost $29 each from the $94 Pro plan, and it has the larger review base. Both include unlimited mailboxes and warm-up.
For the same sending volume, yes. At 150,000 emails a month PlusVibe Business costs $77 while Smartlead Unlimited Smart costs $174, read from both pricing pages in October 2026. At the entry level PlusVibe Personal is $37 for 30,000 leads against $39 for 2,000 contacts on Smartlead Base.
Smartlead lists Base at $39 a month, Pro at $94, Unlimited Smart at $174 and Unlimited Prime at $379, with 17 percent off on annual billing. Verified prospect emails cost $59 a month extra on Base and Pro, and white label costs $29 a month per client workspace from Pro.
Smartlead Base stores 2,000 contacts and sends 6,000 emails a month for $39. That fits a three-step sequence to about 2,000 people. Pro raises it to 30,000 contacts and 90,000 sends for $94, and both Unlimited plans remove the contact cap.
PlusVibe lists Personal from $37 a month, Business from $77 and Agency from $497, with yearly billing taking two months off. Personal and Business rise in steps as you add enrichment credits, up to $58 and $220. Done-for-you Google inboxes cost $4 a month each and Microsoft 365 inboxes $4.50.
For an agency with a few clients, Smartlead is usually cheaper: Pro at $94 plus $29 per white-label workspace beats the $497 PlusVibe Agency entry. PlusVibe Agency suits larger agencies that want an isolated sending server and dedicated IPs per client, so one client cannot hurt another.
On the lower plans, yes. Smartlead lists verified prospect emails as a $59 a month add-on on Base and Pro, with 2,000 and 30,000 verifications respectively, and includes them on Unlimited Smart and Prime. PlusVibe includes enrichment credits on every card, priced through a slider.
PlusVibe grew out of Pipl.ai, and older reviews still use the Pipl.ai name. If you see a Pipl.ai price quoted in a Smartlead comparison, treat it as out of date and check the current PlusVibe pricing page, which we read in October 2026.
Both include AI writing help, but you still bring the template, the variables and the sequence logic. AutoMail researches each company and writes the opener and every follow-up for that prospect, then sends from warmed and rotated inboxes and stops on reply. It is priced flat per workspace from $24 a month annual.
For the same sender model, Instantly is the usual third option, from $47 a month with unlimited mailboxes but only 1,000 contacts on Growth. If cheaper sending is not the gap and the copy is, AutoMail writes a researched 1:1 sequence for each prospect, at $49 a month or $24 annual with unlimited seats.
